Metal Detecting Knee Pads : I wear at least one knee pad while metal detecting. When i am done detecting for a long day, my knees are as if I have never been on them. It will keep you from getting grass stains on your pants. Unless you are metal detecting the beach, I see knee pads one of those manditory accessories for use when metal detecting. I purchased mine before my detector arrived.
